10 Year Anniversary

Seriously...it's been 10 years? No way. I'm not old enough to be married for 10 years. :) Well, it's been a fantastic 10 years. We have had our happy days, trials, ups and downs, and everything marriage and life brings...but doing it all with Nate is the best choice I have ever made. He makes me a better person. He always brings the positive things to light. He makes me laugh. He makes the kids laugh. I love the little "silly" things he does. Everything he does is to make me happy. The best thing about him is that he is so giving. He would give anything to anybody and everybody. This is something I had to get used to when we got married. He had been on a mission, served in Brazil, a 3rd world country, with people who hardly had anything and he gave it all. I didn't have such an amazing experience as that, so I'm ashamed to say that I'm a little selfish. That quality of "giving" has grown on me though, thanks to Nate. He is his own person. There are not very many people out in the world like him and lucky me....I got him :) Thanks for a fantastic 10 years and I hope the next 10 years are even better. I love you.

Our anniversary was this last Friday. Nate's parents were so great to meet us in Ogden to drop the kids off for a day or so. We went to lunch with Nate's parents and grandpa Bowthorpe at Cracker Barrell. I love that place. After we went to a movie (which happens once in a blue moon). We went and saw Star Trek. I thought it was a pretty good movie. Very entertaining. After that we went and stayed the night at little America. We love that place. We ate in their fancy restaurant...which was fantastic and later got Strawberry Pie brought to our room and room service breakfast in the morning. It was a perfect day.
