11th Wedding Anniversary and HopeKids Event

On May 22nd it was our 11th wedding anniversary. Wow...it really has flown by. I can't say enough about Nate and what a great person he is. He really tries hard to make our marriage amazing and that's all he wants in life. He doesn't care about the worldly things...if he could have a family who cares about each other and a great marriage, he is set for life. That is what I love about him. So...Happy Anniversary Nate! :)

That night we decided we would attend the HopeKids event together for our date. HopeKids asked anyone who would be willing to make a poster to display at the dinner for those who would be auctioning items and bidding for the event. So..I made a poster for Tyson. Thanks to my sister, it turned out extra cute. Thank you Cricut! :)

So, I had to take a picture of my phone when it was 5:22 on 5/22. Don't ask me why. :)

Nate's parents ended up coming to the dinner with us. Thank you thank you! They even had a prior engagement and canceled so they could come with us. We really enjoyed their presence there.

Each table was decorated by a HopeKid. This table was all about Caitlin. She is the cutest little girl. It was the craziest experience. After talking, Caitlin had a brain tumor when she was 3, and her neurosurgeon was Dr. Kestle, who is Tyson's neurosurgeon at Primary's. She is now 11 (I think) and doing great! She loves Wicked and they have gone to many cities to see the play, so they decorated the table with everything Wicked themed. Behind the "Wicked" sign, there is a little vile filled with glow-in-the dark liquid. It was the cutest thing. Anyway, we had the BEST table ever!!!! And lame me...I didn't even get a picture of Caitlin, but you can see her thank you cards on the table with her picture on them. Cutest family ever.
