Labor day was a great weekend. Thanks to my grandma Dorothy for letting us borrow her cabin in Horse Valley. It was perfect. It did rain a little bit while we were there, but other than that it was really nice weather. So the boys decided they wanted to go hunting this year. The last time we went hunting was 8 years ago when we were first married, so it was about time we did some sort of a family vacation together. :) We were all able to be there but Bryce and Angela and Crystal and the kids...we missed you guys! Everyday Karston kept telling grandma he wanted to go on a "Fasari"...which meant he wanted to go walk around and look for deer, but really all he wanted to do is look at all the different kinds of poop on the ground. Crazy kid. Brlyee and Mattie spent their time making bracelets and necklaces, coloring, playing with playdough and having a ball. We had more than enough food to last us through the millenium :)
Here are some pictures of the boys after hunting early in the morning,
they all had to take naps.

Pinata time

Karston couldn't wait to do the pinata. He kept constantly saying "find a stick for the pinata!". So here he is...going at it, our next MLB player.

Thanks guys for a great weekend.

That looks like so much fun! I miss Horse Valley. Back in the day when the little cabin was still around by the creek/natural spring:) It is fun to grow up and have a family of your own but man does it suck not to be just a kid any more!
That looks so fun! I like the name Horse Valley. Sounds much better than Disappointment Valley where our cabin is. It was good to see you at the wedding. Let's go see Emily's baby this week.
Brande,
It looks like you guys had a ton of fun. I miss Horse Valley. It was so much fun living in Paragonah. I hope all is well with you and your fam.
Jamie
