Let Freedom Ring

This 4th of July was so much fun. I had to work both Friday the 3rd and Saturday the 4th, but we made the most of it. Friday morning we woke up early and went to see the balloons in Provo. The kids had never seen the balloons before and they were really excited. I didn't even have to ask them twice to get up at 5:30...which is amazing in itself. I loved the balloons, being outside that early in the morning, watching the sunrise, it was perfect. I even saw my friend Tia from high school that I haven't seen since graduation. She lives in Georgia, so it was so good to see her!

After the balloons we went to Magelby's for breakfast. I LOVE Magelby's breakfast and we try to go there every 4th of July. Later on we went swimming at my parents house, ate pizza and then went to an Orem Owlz baseball game. I had never been to one, but I heard there were going to be fireworks after and what a classic American thing to do on the 4th of July. It was so much fun. The fireworks were probably even better than the Stadium of Fire.

Saturday after I got off work we headed to my parents house for a BBQ, swimming, Rockband, snow cones, hanging out, and fireworks. It was a nice relaxing day.

I love the 4th of July and the chance we have to celebrate our country and the freedoms that we all enjoy.

God Bless America!

We were there too! I'm sad I didn't see you, or Tia!

The 4th is seriously the best holiday. I love your pictures of the day. Do you still scrapbook?
