Preschool begins!

Karston has been looking forward to this day for a LONG time. He talks about it all the time. He went to meet "Ms. Sommer" (my cousin), a couple of weeks before school actually started and he couldn't stop talking about it since. He remembered that his chair had the picture of the Eagle on it and he was so excited about that. I was so worried that he would be scared to go by himself....but no, when Nate dropped him off the first day of school, he walked right up to the door, went in and Nate waved to him and Karston turned the corner and didn't bat an eye. I'm so proud of him. He has done awesome. Everyday when I pick him up he asks when he is going back...or he says "how many more 'suns' (Karston's term to determine how many more days left for something) until I get to go again?" The first day he talked about how Ms. Sommer was so funny and she sang this grandma song. He loves it. So...thank you Sommer for making it so exciting. He loves it!
