Karston....

Karston is my little busy body. Sometimes I get frustrated with how much energy he has...he never stops going. He loves to play his games on the computer. Lately his favorite game is "the Tyron robot game", on Disney.com. So now he does this robot move, it's so cute. He could play his games ALL day if I let him.

He takes a nap everyday when I start working. He has to have his "kitty", this beat up old kitty that has had its fair share of love, and he has to rub the tail of the kitty on his nose. Somedays he wants his covers on him and somedays he doesn't. If he doesn't want his covers and I push them down all the way to the bottom of his bed...if he stretches and points his toes and he can touch even a little piece of the blanket, he starts freaking out. He also needs a drink and "the heater on". So, even though I'm roasting up stairs, because it's at least 10 degrees hotter upstairs, I turn the heater up one notch.

For lunch almost every day he wants "a peanut butter sandwhich with apricot jam (even though it is peach jam), crust off, cut like this (he holds one hand flat and then the other hand is the knife like he is cutting a sandwhich in half), with a napkin on the table." He says that to me EVERYDAY without fail.

On Tuesday night Nate and I were watching Biggest Loser, which is the only show we watch together and we hate to get interupted :) Well, Karston needed to use the bathroom and for some reason even though he is 3 years old, he still needs help...which drives he nuts sometimes. Anyway, he was yelling up the stairs he needed some help and I told him to go by himself because he was a big boy (and he does use the bathroom by himself when he wants to). About 5 minutes later we hear Brylee yelling "Mom!!! come up here...the toilet is overflowing!!!!". If you know Brylee, anything that makes a noise or does something that it's not supposed to, she freaks out...especially when it comes to the toilet overflowing. So, I come upstairs...of course Karston is hiding, and the WHOLE roll of toilet paper was in the toilet (brand new roll). The cardboard roll was in the garbage, so he unrolled the whole roll and stuck it all in the toilet...and yes, it was about to overflow. I was so mad. Then Nate comes up and he started laughing. Nate got a big garbage bag and made Karston grab the toilet paper out of the toilet with both hands until it was all gone. By that time I was laughing to.

I just have to share what Karston said last night...I thought it was so cute.

Karston: Where is grandma Dorothy's grandpa?

Me: You mean husband? Grandpa Bud? He is in heaven with Jesus and grandma Bowthorpe.

Karston: Heaven is supposed to give him back.

What I would do without Karston. He keeps us on our toes and makes us laugh everyday with the things he says. I love you buddy.

How very sweet. He sounds like a handful of fun. Don't you just love when their "fun" involves the toilet?
Good memories though:)

Oh, hearing stories like these makes me wish you guys were still in the ward. Karston reminds me so much of Hunter. (Which is why I think Hunter loved him so much. He had a little partner in crime!) But, he is seriously one of the cutest boys ever! If he ever turns up missing it's because I took him!

Hahaha -- What a character! He's the cutest darn kid, even if he has all the energy in the world. :) Did you take a picture?
